This site features hand painted porcelain jewelry by Barbara Herndon. She has been painting porcelain for over twenty years and has sold her pieces all over the United States and some in Canada. Barbara started painting as a hobby but it turned into a growing business. She started painting roses on small hearts for children and there was and still is a great demand for them. From there she expanded to antique reproductions of Victorian brooches and other types of pins. Each piece is totally hand painted and signed using a process developed over two centuries ago.
